Just to Brag.....The Next Tiger Woods

If you can't already tell, I am very proud of my son. I couldnt ask for more of a fun, spoiled, awesome kid. Caden loves to golf, a couple of weeks ago he went to a golf camp in Russellville. He was the youngest kid there. He was in an age group with 6 and 7 yr olds. He will be turning 5 on Sunday. Well even though he was the youngest in his age group, at the end of the camp he received a trophy for being the Most Consistent Golfer! YAY! He is so proud of his trophy, he got 2nd place in the longest drive. Hopefully he will continue to love the sport and make his Momma alot of money one of these days!! LOL

Home Sweet Home

Well i just got back from a trip to Michigan to visit my husbands family. We had a good trip.. we stopped in Newport and took Caden to the Aquarium and went to Kings Island on the way home. It was the first time that Ronnie, Caden, Ashley and myself have really got to go anywhere as a family! And i am so thankful that we got to go. Ashley will be a senior this year, so i figure this will be the last trip she will take with us. I am thankful Ronnie got to go and see his family that he doesnt get to see often, but it also made me stop and realize how thankful i am for my Christian family. For the last couple of years i have struggled desperately with my faith and Christianity. But Praise God that i realized what i needed and now i have a wonderful sunday school class and church that i cant be without. I missed it so much Sunday when i was gone. I also missed hearing my brother preach for the first time. But i know there will be many more to come.. I am thankful that i was able to be with my family for a few days.. just us... But i am glad to be back home!

T Ball

Its been a while... I am still trying to get the hang of this!!

Caden has started T-ball again this year. He absolutely loves it. He takes it very seriously though... I have to watch him close because he tries to get on to the other kids if they are not paying attention. I guess he thinks he is a Coach. I am hoping that he continues to love sports. I am a firm believer in keeping them busy to keep them out of trouble. Hopefully It will Work!!

Also i am asking everyone to remember my brother and family in your prayers this week!!!

Prayer Request

Caden has to have a small surgery Friday morning in Madisonville. I know he will be fine, it just really scares me when i have to trust strangers with my child. Please pray for him that he will do ok and that he wont be too scared. Also pray that i have the strength to be strong for him. (I am sure i will probably be worse than him.)

Dragon...

Ok... I finally did it.. i joined the bloggy world. My Best Friend (& Cousin) Brandy has been on me about starting a blog since she started one... so here it is...

Well my little man finally got a puppy. He has been wanting one for a while, but i have been putting it off. Our neighbors dog had babies and Caden seen them and instantly fell in love, So i gave in!!

Caden named "her" Dragon. We tried to tell him that the dog is actually a girl, but he said he would pretend that it was a boy. So Dragon is the name. I have never had an animal in the house so i dont know how well i will do with this. So everyone pray that i have the patience for it!!! Caden told me that this was the best day of his life!! So i guess it will all be well worth it, to see him so happy. Then thing we will do for our kids....
